Requests features here, keep in mind i am not a very good factorio modder, i had no idea of modding factorio going into this but managed to hack it together with my lua knowledge, so i may not be able to implement large or difficult features

Hello, thank you for your MOD. It's great. When I use it with Nullius, I cannot automatically put bottles in the research station. Is the maximum limit of all items 25K? Can I change it? Sorry, I can't speak English.

Just the ability to open/close the list is fantastic !

These are the things i feel the mod need:
- Ability to click-to-hide individual resources with button to "Show hidden".
- Toggle between "Category" view, "Show not-hidden objects", "Show only what i have" and "View everything" (as it is now)
- Manipulate individual item cap in settings or somewhere else in-game
- Different chests (low prio as their use cases will be niche):
- No-Insert chest. Does not automatically input item to "Cloud" storage
- Output chest. Able to filter an item. When filter is set, the chest will fill up with specified resource. This will enable ppl to use other mod buildings that does not work with the auto filling.
- Filter input chest. Only input filtered item to "Cloud" storage

I also think that the basic functions of the mod should change a bit, but this is just my personal opinion:
- I think the "Cloud" Storage should only start to function when u place a special storage building.
- This building should be able to store a spesific amount of items to begin with (for example. limited to 250 items at the start of the game) and u need to select an item in a filter slot in that building GUI for it to store that item.
- This makes it so you need 1 building (or more) per item type.
- There should be research upgrades to increase the item storage of these buildings, with the last research with space science set to "infinite" storage.
- The storage building should also have a space where u can manualy set the item limit amount. (you probably dont want 200M stone furnaces in storage when u dont use them anymore.

I have more ideas for how this could be, but i'll save that for later.

Thanks a bunch for making this mod much more usable than the original !

p.s. i know u say that large or difficult features may not be doable for u, but it doesnt hurt to have the ideas out there at least :)

Hello, putting modded science bottles into research labs is a planned feature, the default maximum limit of all items is 2k (25k for fluids), as of right now you can only change it by editing the code, adding a setting to change it should be quick i will add it to the next update.

gonna make a list to reply to every feature request, here it is
1. Already working on that
2. In the map settings there is an option to show only the items you have in the latest update
3. Working on a global cap, an individual cap may come at some point as it shouldnt be that hard to implement
4. I may add a settings to add extra chest types, right now you can easily add extra chests to the code if you need
5. Again you can manually remove chest types from the code, however maybe a button you click would be nice
6. Already planned, but will be a while before it is added as i dont know how to do this
7. Maybe added in the same update as the output chest
8. I dont really want to add any new buildings to the game, but maybe a expensive research as a startup setting, this may still happe though it wont be default

Some suggestions from playing this this in a modded context:
1. I second the output chest idea
2. The ability to turn off auto-feed for certain buildings altogether or for individual ones. For example, gas/liquid disposal buildings get a bit of overflow and then continuously feed on the stock of that item, ignoring my tank/overflow pump system
3. The ability to scale and scroll through the UI, the ability to pause visual updates when mousing over the UI element. It's cumbersome to have to go into the settings to turn on "show all" so that the item I want isn't jumping around before/after my mouse, then having to hide it again because the full UI for a modded game covers half the screen.

Overall I like the idea of this (and the effort to make it work for more playthroughs), so I hope that you or the original author can find some quality of life improvements.

  • Skip autofilling for structures which are marked for deconstruction (currently bots cant deconstruct because the inventory will be filled again always)
  • Maybe even clear inventory for structures which are marked for deconstruction
  • Build ghosts from cloud storage
  • Bugfix: with the coke recipe from krastorio (needs coal and wood in furnace, also coal can be the fuel). currently the coal fuel is removed by this mod, so the furnace stops working
  • Autofill for custom science packs: e.g. dark matter replicator labs, base card from krastorio
