Subject, pretty much. For instance, if you want to find research "Rail Signals", as soon as you input "rail " (note the space), the entire search result goes blank.

That's because it doesn't search for "Rail Signals", it searches the internal technology names. Those don't have spaces. And they're often not the same as the display name (sometimes even way off… the displayed name is a "localized" name, so if you play in, say, French, you see french names but the internal name is in German because the dev is speaking German? ;-))
