seems after having a few techs blacklisted it squeezes out the results of a search or the list of techs to be researched first. can i only delete the black list???

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Is it a GUI issue? Can you share a screenshot?

Hmm. This looks like it may be an resolution issue. I've not tested the mod on anything lower than 1920x1200, thought there weren't that many playing on anything lower than this. If you're increased GUI size then I guess this might also lead to this.
I'm exceptionally busy these days, so I'm afraid I don't have time to look into this :(

ok im glad you responded anyways. i was thinking it could be fixed by just resizing the window
