Because you can't select a planet you can't create additional platforms before researching and creating a heating tower. This makes the ability to unlock and craft starter packs before then a soft trap since the user can't even take advantage of the ability anyway and would get more mileage out of just unlocking green science and automation 2 first.

I had a lot of fun with this mod. I created something like 20 platforms for various intermediates and science before escaping to vulcanus and setting up a full base.
In addition to the above which isnt really a bug anyway the changed recipes did not recieve changed recycling recipes which I found out while upcycling personal fusion reactors later for a couple legendary ones.

After taking a closer look, I was able to reproduce your space platform issue by researching and then un-researching "Surface discovery Aquilo" technology using the /editor. I force unlocked the planet discovery in control.lua on startup here: https://codeberg.org/thejoshwolfe/aquilo-orbit-start/src/commit/0843d1b5c8d1a1fa8ac808f4fbd9c6e9cd269611/aquilo-orbit-start/control.lua#L102 . But that's not safe to /editor actions that mess with the technology tree after startup. I should fix that!

Thanks for reporting the recycling recipes not being updated correctly. I still don't fully understand how the recycler mod auto generates these recipes. I want the recycling recipes to use the modified recipes, but not the alternate recipes. I'll figure out how to either flag my recipes or created/modify them at the right stage to make that work...
