This mod revisits the early game of Factorio and pushes the electrification a bit further back by extending the Burner-Stage and inserting a new stage: Steam-Stage (buildings will be powered by steam).
As far as I remember, it used to be possible to create conveyors belts, dividers, and underground conveyors belts in Initial Assembly Machines (this mod, and they were also transferred to the production group of this mod.), but now only by hand and later Assembly Machine 1 2 3...
Hmmm 1.1.100 is ok, the recipe has crafting category crafting.
The version 2.0.22 vanilla has same crafting group.
But space age overwrites it to pressing. It seems to be done for integrating recipe with foundry....
Updated 0.30.20 version.
I added for space-age only new crafting category "apm_light_metallurgy". And move some recipies into it.
The burner assembling machine, steam a.m., electric a.m. and foundry can craft this recipe category
