Also, since the original mod uses a Beerware license, you should include a copy of the license somewhere (with the source code), I haven't seen it in your source code, and the Beerware license requires that you keep a copy of the license to (re)use the code.

Edit: The source code of the original mod uses the MIT license instead of the Beerware license, but maybe these are equivalent?

beerware is a license without being one, it's a bit like CC but more lax,
“do what you want, quote my name, and feel well”.

because in any case, except for graphic creation, all mods belong to wube, so ... adding a license to something that basically doesn't belong to us is already a nonsense, so you might as well use a parodic and lax license.

MIT it's the "default" licence, generaly when you don't choice one, it's take by default
