You make a good point, and I made this when I was stupidly tired - so probs didnt even notice the damn check box tbh.
However, it doesn't touch the Steel-plate recipe, leaving this recipe as the harder option which is what i wanted in my playthrough.
Also it since makes all ores have yields too (much like Infinite Ores) since v0.2.
