I was wondering about the rocketfuel from petroleum recipe, what was the rationale? as it seems to be quite a boost compared to the normal regular light oil based one, and the are unlocked at the same time.

I was not sure about that, maybe I will remove or adjust it. My rationale was, that if you use viscose to make plastics, you are not consuming that much of petrol gas. That can block your light and heavy oil production. Therefore I added a recipe to make rocket fuel from petrol gas, which should unblock it. It should still be more effective to make rocket fuel from light oil, isn’t it?

I see, well the player could already make solid fuel from petroleum and use that solid fuel for rocket fuel. Although I'm not at that stage yet in my current playthrough, it makes sense to me to remove this recipe (rocket fuel from petroleum).
