First off love your mods, used them tons. Second, is it ok if I make edits to this mod to make it 2.0+ compatible and upload it? I'd credit you for the original mod of course. I'd also happily just send you my edits if you want to upload it yourself. I don't care about credit. I just want it available for folks.

The MIT license that you can select on the Information tab, gives you the right to do this. Look at my comments on my Discussion post just before yours. It shows how to update this mod, just by changing the info.json file. Been using this mod in version 1.1 and now 2.0 of Factorio for several years without issues.
