Volume control for every sound file.
Providing the player with new tools or adjusting the game interface, without fundamentally changing gameplay.
Some mods have mildly loud sounds for my taste, and I am wondering if you could add modded sounds?
I only patch other mods in a select few cases. If you have suggestions direct them to the original authors.
