Always irked me having all those burners (inserters and drills), and stone furnaces clogging up my storage chest, along with my pistol. 4 slots wasted. So, no longer avoiding making burners, and able to have a better, faster start.

Sure when I upgrade I 'waste' all that stone... but in my current run, I'm not strapped for stone.

Yeah, I kinda hated it too, how you had all those worthless drills.

Glad you like it. The waste of stone isn't too much of a waste. The recipes are balanced so that what you upgrade is equivalent to if you built the next tier up directly.
