Does this work with mods?

AFAIK it shouldn't have any issues (crashes) but it currently only handles vanilla intermediate products. Each pallet has a custom tint to match their icons, so those are basically hard coded in.

It wouldn't be too hard to automatically palletize mod items but they would all have a generic pallet color (i.e. black or white), or maybe just a completely random color. If that's ok, I can add mod support :)

Any specific mod I should focus on? bobs/angels?

Definitely bobs angels and maybe pycoal/fusion. Those seem to be the big ones.

Of course a lot of people post with 5dim as well as dyworld.

That's a lot of work for manual inputs though.

ok I think I have a good solution for mods w/out having to manually input everything. I'll add it as an optional Setting and can probably update it tomorrow.

I'm not sure if thats the way you found but you can overlay two icons on top of each other instead of doing tint only. One of similar mods did that - I think it's not updated for 0.16 tho.

Yep I was trying out the “combined” icons last night, it looks pretty good and I think that will work well. Some items (eg some of the bob ores) also have tint properties that I could probably grab automatically whenever present.

The main thing I want to be careful about — palletizing all items automatically gets kind of crazy, and some will never be useful (eg palletizing 100 burner miners lol). I can put “all items” in the Settings as an option, but I want the default to only do ores/materials/intermediates.

I can probably post something tonight, thanks for the input!

Ok I think it is working with mods now! It is in the "Mod settings" section. If everything is palletized, they will just be icons on plain white pallets. Thanks!

Awesome thanks for the changes. Exactly what I wanted next 🤣
