I've used this MOD with "/c game.speed=X" at various factors.
The only thing I've noticed is lack of "UPS" claims to increase those numbers. Simply put, they are lying.
Install their mod and you'll get some behind the scenes bullshit that really eats at your FPS/UPS along with some bothersome shame message as to why you're not giving them money.
They are trolls and Factorio is the bridge. Don't give them a penny.
