Got the exact same error. I tried to reproduce: Created a task with 3 subtasks - handling without any problems.
Saved the game, exited Factorio and reloaded. The error now occurs when opening the todo list (using the button at the top left.)

Sigleplayer, slightly modded. ( About 30 mods).

I have no experience in modding or bug reporting, but I am available to answer questions.

if i remember correctly, global table does not exist anymore, they changed it to storage. it looks like that's one of the error

Open your game folder, check the last part of ~/Games/Factorio/factorio-current.log
if you use steam, check about %appdata%/Factorio/
