According to my calculations, assuming unlimited free energy and oil and max productivity modules in the chain, it costs 54827 space ore to build a rocket.
It costs an additional 12608 space ore to build a space drill mk2.
This makes me sad.
Asteroid mining mk1 is quite useless in the face of that. Mk2 at least allows you to get back more of a single resource than you spent, at the cost of all the other resource, making it an inefficient transmuter.
Would it be possible to link the output to mining productivity bonuses, since this is space mining, and eventually reach breakeven and profit?
Alternatively, the resource output of both drills should be increased by at least a flat 50%.
Another option that might be nice is to have the mk1 drill produce even amounts of all the outputs (at the rate of an improved mk2, so it is a little bit profitable), while the mk2 drill can be specialized to sort the material in space and only bring down a full load of only a specific desired resource.
