I wouldn't say it's a lie, but it's wrong. Even then, I'd be wrong. "It has evolved" would be more proper. :-D
Originally, the mod did, indeed, only change the two bots from the vanilla game: construction bots and logistic bots. Then somebody requested that Atomic robots be supported as well, and I implemented this by adding support for all bots that are in the game, but kept the title for, let's say, historic reasons.
By the way, if you have five kinds of bots, then you clearly have got some from other mods. There may be five bots you see, but I bet there will be more if you just install the right mods. So, saying that there are five robots is wrong as well. Reminds me a bit of the old Gary Larson caption: "He who's sitting in a grass house shouldn't throw with spears." :-)
