I don't like to take the fun out of it, but have you read the linked license of the original mod and that you're reusing too?

you are not allowed to distribute anything altered, or derived from my code without expressed permission first.

If you don't have explicit permission, that 2.1 fork is a license violation.

+1, I personally think mods should have more open licenses than the one Schall uses, but you should follow it regardless.

All I did was tweak the version requirement values in the "info.json" file from "2.0" to "2.1", nothing else was changed

I'm not going to waste my time asking for permission to make such an inconsequential change
that Shall (or any other dipsh1t user can make in 5 mins)

& not to mention the fact I've linked the source back to Shall & the original mod page

Technically this is still a modified derivative that you published. Even if it is just the info.json. And thus a license violation.

Bob's License verbatim:
Since the old one seems to have gone missing... again... here is the license.

No Commercial Use - You are not allowed to make money off my work.
No Modification - Although I can't stop you from looking at my code, you are not allowed to distribute anything altered, or derived from my code without expressed permission first.
Distribution - You are allowed to redistribute my mods as is. This includes being repackaged as part of a mod pack.
Private Use - I am not imposing any limitations on private use, if you want to modify my work, or create your own using parts of mine, you are free to do so, as long as this altered or derived work does not become accessible to the public.

That about covers the basics...
Exceptions to the no modification rule include:

Minor bug fixes/tweak for compatibility reasons, such as >altering the dependencies line in info.json< to force a load order in a modpack.

Any further modifications, such as changing values of entities/recipes in my mods should be done externally in another mod, similar to how my own has dynamic recipes, or enables/disables certain things as needed.

:)

I'll take down the mod if Schall, Bob or a Moderator of the Factorio Forums/Mod Portal asks me to, I will not listen to you however
