I don't recieve any sort of notifications from the mod portal, and it's really very inconvenient to check it regularly. GitHub sends me e-mails.

You can subscribe to discussions here, also check your notifications settings in your profile. You can receive an email from every message and new thread posted.

I probably should have edited this message to note that. I still prefer GitHub because it keeps my issue tracking in a single place and lets me better associate feedback with the code I write in response to that feedback. I've considered locking this discussion section, but I figure some people won't be able or willing to use GitHub.
