I am woefully undereducated; I see that Klonan's mod is GNU LGPL. What's the difference for you, if you're willing to explain from your point of view?

I did punch this into ChatGPT before asking and the difference I got was is the GNU LGPLv3 requires updates made to be made the same type of open-source as the original licensed work, where as MIT license requires no such source code release.

eh it doesn't really change anything, it's just a personal preference that i prefer to be able to just mark all my portal mods as mit, sharing is caring

I for one am not overly worried about the new texture if you don't want to be bothered to bring that over.

Please be aware, I just posted this bug on Klonan's turrets, I am not sure you will or will not run into the same issue.

Here's the text I posted:

Seems to be issues with some buildings not being built. For example I can have the repair turrets build an assembler but they do not place laser or tesla turrets. They also do not place substations or large poles, but do place medium and small. Quality levels do not appear to influence this.

yea true, though it also has priority for constructing itself & power poles, and deconstructing itself & power poles last

I mostly use it as repair outposts, and rebuilding destroyed entities. I mean, it's not used to build new outposts, only to maintain the already finished ones in combat mode.
But sometimes I'd mark a cliff for destruction in a dense development and it would create havoc.

I'm having an issue with Klonan's that's eating my UPS and not repairing anything. I deactivated Klonan's.

both mods would eat ups, but in those circumstances it would be nice to send that world off the mod developer so they can profile what's causing their mod to eat time.
