If you place a storage tank or a pipe first, then the HP offshore pump next to it, it won't connect. But if you place the HP pump first then a connecting pipe or tank it works as expected. This doesn't happen with the normal offshore pump. You can place the pump or tank in any order and it would connect as expected.

It's not a big deal as you can just swap your placements. I only noticed it because I had a blueprint and the bots didn't place the order as expected and was wondering why there was no water in the system. Just thought you should know.
