If i craft something in my inventory, that needs for example iron plates, and i dont have iron plates in my inventory but iron packages, will factorio automatically decompress as many packages as needed ?
The recent version of the mod only allows you to decompress in a T2 or higher assembler. But yes that's how it used to work. It added an annoyance though, you can read more about it in the forum thread.
