In singleplayer it spits the error 'event': real number expected got nil to the console, but doesn't hurt anything. On my multiplayer server however, the error occurs when I first connect, and the server quits and restarts.

It seems to be a transient sort of error. In singleplayer it threw the error about 20 times at 1/second, and then stopped. Then I could save and load that save on the server and it would work.
