How does the yield, power consumption, and pollution output compare to the Bucket Wheel Excavator mod?

So the omega could probably stand to consume twice as much power (with the same emission factor) and still would be a nice upgrade to vanilla (honestly I'd use it even with same or slightly worse stats than vanilla). The Bucket Wheel uses real world data for power consumption (Bagger 288), so scaling to vanilla wasn't a goal there (even if the pollution fits well IMHO), and with five module slots it's trivial to make it faster or cleaner, or both.

And now I'm wondering, if I'd send you the complete lua, would you consider adding an Omega MK2 for Bob's Mods (that's only visible if Bob's is present?).

I'll consider it. Also, while I'm slightly tempted to adjust the pollution production and energy consumption, drills aren't often high on the list for either of those, so I don't consider it a big deal on either front.
