I will rewrite this without copying Wube code, so I can use the MIT license. However I hate when people lie and fudge about this; it dishonors all free licenses when people put them on something they don't truly have rights to.
The correct process is to write documentation for the Wube code -- I had to copy it because there is no documentation saying how to use it -- and then come back a month later and rewrite from the documentation, without looking at the code.
