I had the same idea, but I asked Arch666Angel before and I didn't do it, because this is already in the next incoming upgrade of angel's smelting mod XD
I'm sorry for all your efforts, besides that it was a great idea and your update of Bucket Wheel Excavators is really nice too ;)

it was less than 1hr of work, and most of that was working with gimps colour curves-from which I learned a lot! I did it to continue playing in my modded world and thought I should share it with everyone ;)
