The only reason I left Discussions open is if someone wants to use code from the mod, and feels bad using it without asking. The forum is open for you to ask first, if you like to.
You don't have to ask. Before I changed the mod portal descriptions to say "deprecated", etc., it used to tell people to just copy the mod without asking.
