No, it's not your fault. Yes, the default setting of the mods is the inactive setting, which needs to be set in the settings - mods settings to take effect

I checked all mod setting tabs. None of the tabs have any sections for this mod to toggle on or off. please advise

Thank you for your prompt. So I seriously thought about it. Mods should be a dedicated function. Then I deleted the integrated mods of others and made only color materials alone. Then it is recommended to use other mods to cooperate, so as to get a better experience. There are no settings after the mods is updated. Color materials are enabled directly by default
