What is the polite way to deal with these situations? I would happily fork the mod just to bump the version number, but I don't want to be rude.
The mod hasn’t been updated in 1 year and 9 months. Legally you can fork it with the MIT license, but I understand why you’re hesitant. Hopefully OmaiGrundles will update it for 2.1.
You could try no power icons instead.
