• How big is the lighting area?
• How much does it cost to build one (I hope it costs more than the basic lamp, as it is more powerful)?

Apologise for a long delay but I haven't been playing Factorio for a bit and therefore was not looking into mods.

Now to answer your questions.

Lightning area is 2x the size of the small lamp:
• size = 80
Small lamp has the size of 40

To build a large lamp you will require:
• electronic-circuit - 2
• iron-stick - 8
• iron-plate - 10
