i What about Engines from Mk1 Assemblers (and fluids) ?

In vanilla Factorio, there's actually a specific item, Engine, that has a specific category "advanced-crafting", that is only present on Mk2 and Mk3 Assemblers, that makes it impossible to craft by hand... but also by Mk1 Assemblers with ingredient limits removed !
(Same goes with the "crafting-with-fluid" category, except the Mk1 Assembler doesn't even have fluidboxes defined...)

It looks like this mod was only made to remove the ingredient limit and not to allow the advanced crafting stuff in MK1 assemblers. That was the only thing mentioned as changing for assemblers in .17. Advanced or fluid-requiring recipes will still need MK2 or better as far as vanilla goes unless the devs specifically mention advanced or fluid recipes can be used on the MK1.

So it seems outside the scope of this mod (or any mod sticking only to the announced .17 assembler changes) to allow advanced or fluid recipes to be used in the MK1 assembler.

But I do think it could be reasonable to allow those things to work on MK1 assemblers. Perhaps the "Fluid Handling" tech would enable fluid input on all assemblers and then there's either something similar for advanced crafting or the advanced crafting category simply gets removed.
