I will have to look into this. How did you get SE to load with BZ? Did you manually fix the landfill issue in all the BZ mods?

Yes, I patched stuff manually, actually all brevven mods, including tungsten. Most of the work was done by a gentleman who created PRs at Github for brevven, the rest was trial and error

I'm not able to reproduce it under any circumstances. Even went through the effort to update the BZ mods as well and I'm not getting that error.
This only started happening when you added IfNickel?
Could you try figuring out which mod is causing it to not work when IfNickel is enabled?

You could try commenting out line 57 in integrity_check.lua. While I do not necessarily recommend trying to play the game that way, it would probably let you at least start it up. At that point, you can get into the in-game prototype explorer and see the modification history on that technology and compare it to what happens with IfNickel disabled.

Hi! This happened only when tinned cables option in BZTin was enabled. Fix was published in latest patch, 2.2.3!
