Furnaces are upgradable now (alternative recipe). The vanilla recipes can also be turned off.
Would it be possible to add an option to the settings to disable the vanilla recipes so that this is the only way to craft the furnaces? I know you last updated this mod 2 years ago but I just found this mod and love it.
