It would make a lot more sense for asteroid mining to return drop ships for Saphirite, Stiratite, Rubyte, Bobmonium and Crotinnium while Angels Refining is an active mod.
The current random drop ship unboxing does not make much sense in my opinion as it immediately bypasses all the refining and sorting steps Angels Refining adds which is something I would reserve for the Space Fabricator.
