where is cobalt i couldn't see on the map

I am having the same problem, i can't find any cobalt on a huge portion of the map, even after using a modded radar to search. Is there some trick to getting the cobalt to show up? It doesn't seem to be listed in the ores mod, just in the plates mod.

Cobalt IS missing. cant find it in resource generator in game start, cant find the option in Quarry mod either, and cant find cobalt on map. Can you fix please? Its rather urgent as its a critical component to build a LOT of stuff.

Maybe it's normal that you can't find it on the map? If not, why i've renamed my mod: FactorioPlus Plates and "Basic processings"?

When you go to start a new game and check the options a lot of ores are listed but Cobalt is not listed. I have check several games now and do not find cobalt on the map. I am looking at your mod on youtube and found that Cobalt comes from splitting of Iron.

'Cause it's not an ore, but a iron product.
