Hello, and thank you for your work on this mod. I've been using it for quite some time now. I have a question regarding the deletion of chunks when using the Whistlestop mod (https://mods.factorio.com/mod/WhistleStopFactories). My map claims that chunks where a Whistlestop factory was spawned aren't being deleted.

I can't look at it at the moment but I would expect that the Whistlestop factories are counted as entities belonging to the player. I suppose that a new feature could be added to supply a list of ignored entities. I do not know if Whistlestop regenerates in deleted chunks. That would have to be tested.

So the Whistlestop mod maintains a table of points where factories are spawned. One can destroy a Whistlestop factory prior to deleting a chunk to allow it to clean up after itself however the table of points will not allow a replacement to respawn. This table is inaccessible outside of the Whistlestop mod. Overcoming this would require an API call being added to the Whistlestop mod to cleanly remove all trace of the previously spawned factory.

That...sounds messy. It doesn't sound like it would be worth the effort. :x Thank you though for peeking into it!
