Delete chunks which contain no player entities, configurable chunk radius & paving detection
Providing the player with new tools or adjusting the game interface, without fundamentally changing gameplay.
Polluted chunks shouldn't be destroyed. It's a cheat as it is now, and game will always actually load/activate chunks that contain pollution even if it is unexplored.
But this could be made into option.
Polluted chunks should be destroyed, else we don't destroy big part of useless data that occupy save file. Don't worry pollution will fill them again.
