Would it be possible to craft what the cursor is pointing it, rather than what it's holding?

It would improve the workflow:
Current - Point at item -> Q to hold item -> Shift + T to craft held item
Suggestion - Point at item -> Shift + T to craft pointed at item

Hi I am looking into this because other users expected this to work. I think I know a way to do this. Good thing the weekend is coming up so will have some time
