Thanks for the input, I have not been able to play as much of this expansion as I would have liked so haven't encountered this yet.
I looked into this, and came up with an okay solution in the latest release 1.2.0.
The best I can do is replace the tooltips to be correct, and updating the background colors in the inputs section.
I tried going through lua scripts to find an interception point for the 'R' and 'G' being rendered in that location.
I think the only way to do it would be to clone the combinator into a new entity that i completely control then i could make this change.
This would take me some time, as I have not really programmed in lua. On top of that it makes the mod quite fragile and would need to be monitored more for any breaking changes from updates.
I would love to have the time and energy to spend on something like this, but it's just not something i can do.
I hope the changes i did do are serviceable, i think they will suffice.
I turned off the mod for testing, and yeah the red and green are almost identical to me, so i feel your pain mate.
Let me know if there is any bugs or anything I missed. Happy to keep this little mod going.
