That's cool. I don't want to bundle it in with this mod though.
I think having it seperate, especiialy now that factorio 0.17 supports updating mods from in game. So Having two seperate mods one for wires, one for decon planner, is less hassle now and much neater from a coding perspective.
If I had the time I would make a full colorblind mod, with options for toggling on or off certain recolor options.
If you don't want to post that as a standalone mod, send me the files, graphics, data paths, etc. and I will post a standalone "colorblind deconstruction planner"
