I agree. The Colonist GUI is quite invasive. It should, preferably, have a "Close/minimize" button similar to how most other GUIs work which preceed with a button like the Creative mode or RPG system buttons. Please add a minimize button as a "<" to the left of the GUI panel and possibly GUI resizing capabilities which can be done as so - https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/ckqvo5/mod_window_placement/. I have tried to dig through your code and work it out, but as a Lua beginner, it's pretty complicated for me at the moment.
