Hello,

thats something of a coincidence....
While running yesterday i though of adding some worker to the game.....

I had a quite similar setup in mind like yours, with just two differences.

  1. Start with a given number of worker
  2. add to each recipe a certain number of worker (which will be also returned as a result, but exhaused)
    Exampe copper-plate & worker -> copper-cable & exhaused worker

Oh man that's nuts. It's basically the system I have. You get a tired colonists after a job is finished, with a small chance of getting an injured one.
Then in housing they rest and here their is a small chance for them to die. Maybe I should make this clearer in the description?

This is kind of an early version so if you have any ideas please share them.

i would not had them let die or to be injured :-) i am not so cruel..... but why not

But for every recipe one or more workers are required to make the recipe (plus the exhausted worker).
So that would basically a management factorio.

I had also in mind different tiers of workers -> worker / engineer / chemical-engineer and so on.....

So you would need some worker from the very start.
