This mod appears to work fine just by updating the info.json file.

I'm not planning to update it since I believe the functionality is included in 0.17. I haven't actually played since the update though, so if the mod would add something I can update it.

For what it's worth, I have played 0.17 a fair bit now, and indeed this mod's primary functionality is subsumed by what is in the base game. I have not done really careful measurements, but the efficiency of explosive usage seems to be about the same as what the mod achieved. Thus, I don't see a reason to release an updated version.
