One quality of life change that Factorio made was changing the roboport construction range to be slightly more than twice the logistics range.

"Increased roboport construction range to 55 (110×110 area) to make roboports able to build each other without interconnecting their logistic areas, and not break when there are obstacles like trees or rocks."

With the mod in its current state, a roboport ghost exactly two chunks away from an existing roboport can fail to build because there's a tree sitting in the way, just outside the construction range of the first roboport.
