Thanks for reporting karlhuber1! Looks like there's a condition that disables it if K2 is enabled. I'll look into why it does that and get back to you.
Fixed for 1.4.2! I did a bit more rigorous testing this time so it should work now. The vanilla recipes changed and the mod was failing silently when setting them to unlock.
Sorry to be a pain… I believe the unlock should be with basic-fluid-handling instead of fluid handling. At least with K2SE. Patched that locally and then it worked.

You're not being a pain, you're testing for me lol! I fixed it in the newest version 2.4.4. Was a little more complicated of a fix than just replacing the name.
