Can you add a recipe to strand cast iron sticks?

Iron rods aren't very frequently used as far as I know, so I'm not sure why I should add this unless they were used all the time. What are you using them for? I am willing to accept alternative reasoning, just this is the reason I didn't add them initially.

They're needed for production science packs if Bob's Tech isn't active.

For rails, right? That doesn't really change my mind on this matter, but I will consider adding an option disabled by default for strand casting direct to gears/rods; as far as I know there is no one comprehensive mod that does this, and this could be that mod. Thank you for the suggestion.

I meant strand casting to coil, then crafting to stick. Also, I just found out that there is another item called the iron rod that can be strand casted, but appears to be useless.

Ah, sorry for misunderstanding. I actually really like that idea instead of strand casting straight to rods/gears, I will see what I can do to implement that.
