Great mod! There was another with a similar idea, but it caused so much lag that I couldn't use it.

Some improvements that'd be nice to have:

• Customizable distance between lamp ghosts (especially helpful when using mods like Brighter Lamps and Subtle Lighting)
• Add missing locale for shortcut-name.auto-lamp-shortcut
• Hide item-name.auto-lamp-tool in factoriopedia
• The shortcut "deactivates" itself if I click it and then open up remote view (it works fine if I click it while already in remote view)
• A thumbnail to attract more people to this excellent mod!

I'm working on a number of those already! I messed up the locale and forgot factoriopedia existed. I only just noticed the deactivation today and have no clue why that happens. I don't recall which features are in the released versions, but I do have a distance between ghosts in the dev branch. As for the thumbnail I'm not a graphic designer so that will be a challenge.

Should be done! I think I got everything. Sorry for the delay, got a bit bored after I first got it working and only just got around to finishing it.
