Try to understand cause of basic +30% productivity bonus (O.o)
The research chain requires mining productivity, which ends up in 20 or 30% depending on if you research only the minimum requirements or the full chain behind it, your drill doesnt seem bugged to me, I don't see any base productivity when using it
Edit: changing your item icon mipmap from 4 to 1 will fix the icon not showing up too
