248k Mod


Advance through 4 stages of tech. Start with simple machines and work your way through nuclear fission and fusion up to black and white holes, in order to tame the 248k Element. This mod is designed to be playable in already existing worlds since it changes nothing on world generation. Can be played as a standalone mod or in overhaul mode.

b Orphaned Beacons

Multiple mods (SE, Sandboxes, Factorissimo2, etc.) create surfaces. Surfaces are cleared/deleted. Beacon count isn't adjusted correctly.

In 248k's variables: global->ki->beacon table as well as the beacons channels tables appears to continue storing the orphaned beacons inflating the count. When a beacon is removed this way, the entity pointer is removed from the beacon-table-object, but the rest of the beacon-table-object (channel & supported) and channels beacon object still exists.

If a beacon is manually mined, the whole beacon-table-object etc is removed.
