Adds armor plating equipment to increase vehicles hitpoints and improve their survivability.

It'd be nice if there was a more early-game (without the Chemical Packs, especially since those are so dependent on worldgen RNG) that took up a bit more space (say 2x3?), and only gave 500 armour points.
Energized could be 3x3 and only give a 15% boost.
I think this works well, because during that mid-game oil hunt you need all the health you can get.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I think making armor plates available earlier would make them come at the same time as the car basically, defeating the sense of progression.
Althought I agree sometime oil is a big step to climb !
