This seems like it could only happen if you're playing with some other mods that delete surfaces, and you were on one that was deleted while you are in the Sandbox. I'll need a save to reproduce and fix this.

I took the old save and continued playing yesterday. Blueprint Sandbox has been removed and installed again (switching to an earlier version didn't work either). But I took the broken save and it works today... I can't reproduce the crash.

I think it's Reverse Factory.
